Crinum Lily grows rapidly to over 5′ high with 5′ long sword shaped leaves. The plant is native to the tropics and subtropics, some species are native to Florida. It is cultivated for its beautiful, fragrant flowers, and enormous size. Crinum Lily is also called Spider Lily. Crinum lilies are summer-flowering, sun-loving perennial bulbs. The giant clumps of bold, tropical, foliage make an architectural statement in the garden. In late spring and summer, crinum lily clumps are topped with an array of red-to-pink-to-white flowers…often fragrant.
